I make interesting, and unique art from discarded bits that others have lost value in, work that makes people think about things in a new or different way. I find myself experimenting with mixed media, incorporating many layers into my work. I work with mixed media, using acrylic, coloured pencil, ink, pastel, rice paper, found objects, electronic components, traditional and digital drawing and text. I research genetic sequences where appropriate to incorporate them as well into my work.
My work tends toward juxtaposing ideas of beliefs and science, in particular those of creation myths and genetics to actively engage the viewer to question their own beliefs as well as those of society.
Lately I have been experimenting with translating these ideas into a steampunk aesthetic.
